Some photos from the walking challenge

Things just got super busy, so I'll be posting more photos and fewer words. Still keeping up the good work and keeping the food clean. I've only added 85% chocolate. Leaving the nuts out for a long while. Doing to good without them.

Here are some photos from my walks. I really get a lot of body, mind and and soul benefits from the walking. I'm on twitter more often when it is busy. Tweet you later.

  1. Hi Karen! Oh, I used to live by a creek. Every spring, we'd go down to watch the baby ducks with their mamas.

I'm sticking away from nuts too. And raisin bran is on my shit list too. :D

  2. I love your pictures. Why have I never thought of taking pictures while I'm walking? I, too, like to see all the critter babies, flowers and insects. I never listen to music while I walk because I want to hear the birds and the wind. Wow, I sound like a hippie!

  3. Lovely pictures - walking (which you know I do every morning) is so calming to the soul. Can't imagine starting my day without it. I've been traveling and rather quiet with commenting, but am still reading every post and celebrating your success in maintenance. Such an encouragement to me!

  4. I can see why you get so much out of your walks! Beautiful photos! I'm staying 90% clean with my diet. My two indulgences are half & half in my coffee and a glass of red wine at night (both "approved" by Mark Sisson).

  5. Thank you, everyone! I had a family emergency just after I posted this. Being relaxed, looking at photos really helped. As did being around family, eating right, and..... still honoring the walking challenge. The final walk I took June 5, 2013 was one of the hardest, but one of the most important things to do that day. Thanks again. I'll have some more posts coming up, since things are getting settled down now.
